I started archery when I was 9 and at the time it was just something new to try. I did not think it would become such a big part of my life but over the years it did. As I kept practicing I got better and started to enjoy the sport. I like the focus and the challenge and the feeling of improving. What made it even more meaningful was the people. My teammates have become some of my closest friends and being around them makes practices and competitions more fun. Now it is not just something I do it is something I truly care about because of the experiences and the people I have met along the way.
